While I’m not a glass maker, I asked a fellow artisan to
make glass calla lily shapes for me to use in making calla lily jewelry. I
incorporated a beautiful freshwater pearl at the lily’s center and topped it
with a faceted green Swarovski crystal. Here it is shown in a natural calla
lily color in the necklace and pink in the earrings. Slight shape and color
variations are to be expected in the handmade nature of this earring design.
These are extremely light in weight for earrings, and the necklace features
12 flanking freshwater pearls that delicately frame the stunning glass calla
lily on the sterling silver chain. The necklace is adjustable from 17
to 19 inches in length.This is a beautiful design for brides and/or the
bridal party. It makes a thoughtful wedding or anniversary gift from the
groom whose bride chose calla lilies for her bouquet.
