You can still find antique bead teapots in England, but here is a refined version of the old charm tradition featuring natural stones with my sterling silver teapot parts. I’ve listed the gemstone choices below, but only chalcedony (above) and seraphinite (below) are pictured. On each, I add a delicate tiny accent stone or pearl above the lid to give that extra realism. These make wonderful tea party hostess gifts. Variations in the stones are the consequence of nature’s process and lend to the charm and inherent appeal of natural stones.

Color coordinated gemstone earrings are available upon request.

Gemstone Teapots are approx 7/8 inch tall.

Gemstone choices

(Specify your choice on your order.  For color reference, see Gemstone Options, but only the gemstones listed below are available as gemstone teapots.)

Amethyst – deep translucent purple.

Chalcedony – a light Caribbean blue, near opaque.

Carnelian - brown red in color, opaque.

Golden Lace Agate – a mixture of tawny golds and browns with swirls of black, opaque.

Green Agate – a vibrant kelly green, fairly opaque.

Hematite – the color of polished pencil lead, opaque

Kyanite – a complex semi translucent earth blue with blends of royal blue & black accents, slight iridescence.

Lavender jade – vibrant slightly translucent lavender.

Malachite – hard to describe the green swirls of malachite, opaque.

Moss Agate: Speckled forest greens and white. Metaphysical uses relate to abundance and prosperity.

Poppy Jasper - brick reds, browns, creams, and tan swirled together, opaque.

Rhyolite - a complex jasper with leafy, lacy warm patterns of golden brown, greens, and deep cream; opaque.

Rose Quartz – soft light pink, somewhat translucent.

Seraphinite - deep forest green to green-black with inclusions of silvery Mica. Seraphinite, is derived from the Latin word "seraphin" . The allusion to angels is due to the to the feathery wing patterns made by the Mica contained within the stone. Only found in Russia.

Rhodochrosite: light pink to rose red with wavy veins of gray to black banding. Banded Rhodochrosite is only found in Catamarca, Argentina.

Tiger”s Eye: Chrysoberyl with honey-colored and golden brown stripes. It’s the anniversary gemstone for the 9th year of marriage. Metaphysical uses suggest it helps to focus the mind. Primarily mined in South Africa.

Zoisite Jasper: Rich mix of forest green, tawny tans and occasional plum colors. Metaphysical use relates to enhancing trust.

Turquoise – natural, untreated greenish turquoise blue.
