KEISHI PEARL JEWELRY Keishi Pearls are accidents of the pearl’s culturing process. They form from oyster mantle that is attached to the mother of pearl bead after it is inserted into the oyster. I think of it as a natural bridge of nacre. They are always irregular in shape, usually white, silver, or black; and relatively expensive for nice quality specimens. This necklace features a beautiful quality single silver white keishi hanging below a sweep of chain with freshwater pearls and pink cubic zirconia. I use a specialty sterling chain to enhance the delicacy of the design and attach an extension chain at the clasp, allowing a 16” to 18” length. Matching keishi earrings are available upon request.
